Coast Guard Searches for Dustin Danos Crewman Missing in Gulf of Mexico

NEW ORLEANS, La. — The U.S. Coast Guard sent out a news release that they and commercial crews are searching for a missing crewman from the offshore vessel Dustin Danos 60 miles southwest of Port Fourchon, Saturday, Nov. 9.

The news release states:

Watchstanders with Coast Guard Sector New Orleans received a report of a missing crewman last seen aboard the Dustin Danos earlier in the day. The crewman was last seen wearing gray long johns and a white T-shirt.

Coast Guard aircrews from Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans and Coast Guard Aviation Training Center Mobile, Ala., are searching for the missing crewmember along side the crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Pelican, the crew of the vessel Dustin Danos, and a commercial helicopter crew.
