LAFITTE, La. – The Coast Guard has determined that the Settoon vessel that struck a Chevron pipeline in Bayou Perot on March 12 appears to be out of the navigation channel and ran over clearly marked white stakes that indicated the pipeline’s presence.

PORTSMOUTH. ME. — The U.S. Coast Guard released a report to Foster’s Daily Democrat on February 28, 2013, detailing the sinking of the Benjamin Bailey, the tugboat that capsized on October 24, 2012 in Portsmouth. PORTSMOUTH, Va. — A news release was sent out on Feb. 28, 2013 by the U.S.Coast Guard about a fire that broke out aboard the Portsmouth-based Cutter Bear. The reports states that the U.S. Coast Guard and Portsmouth Fire Department responded Thursday to a fire aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Bear, while moored at Coast Guard Base Portsmouth.
