Final Days of Captain Phil Harris of ‘Deadliest Catch’ Airs on Discovery

The Discovery Channel airs the details Tuesday night, July 13, of the death of Capt. Phil Harris, Alaskan crabber and fan’s favorite reality star of ‘Deadliest Catch’ who suffered a stroke and died in February.

The last six years of Harris’ life have been lived on camera, and his death was no different. For three weeks, the “Deadliest Catch” cameras have captured the heart-wrenching final days of Harris’ life, and tonight, he finally loses his battle, surrounded by family and friends.

After the episode, the follow-up show “After the Catch” has crew members and fans paying tribute to their hero.

A memorial episode is scheduled to air July 20.
